Course Description:

I.C.A. - The international colleges of acupuncture organize various acupuncture courses for the degree and status of an acupuncturist.
There are currently several countries actively participating in this training. In these countries, there is a local system of various types of education with lecturers who lead oral and frontal classes.
Due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, this course will currently be taught online.

I.C.A. teaches students in Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM), based on ancient acupuncture books such as Nei Jing, Nan Jing, and Jia Yi Jing. I.C.A. has permission from W.F.A.S. (World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies) on the legalization and certification of its program.
W.F.A.S. is the official body of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the legalization and certification of acupuncture education worldwide.

In Russia, the program applies only to doctors (MD) and other medical professionals. This group of healthcare professionals can also be divided into two groups.
This course is designed as a modern acupuncture training, but can also function as a postgraduate course for already practicing acupuncturists (reflexologists) in Russia. The acupuncture course will last two and a half years and consist of 12 workshops. For postgraduate studies, the number of seminars will be the same.

This program will last for two and a half years. The lectures will be online and open to general practitioners, reflex therapists, highly qualified nurses, and osteopaths. The first year will focus on the philosophy and physiology of acupuncture. The basis of this year is the book "Heavenly Trunks and Earthly Branches - Wu Yun Liu Qi - Philosophy and Physiology of Acupuncture." This book has been translated into Russian by us.

This will be followed by a year and a half of studying Western pathology, seen through the eyes of classical Chinese acupuncture. Western physiology will be "translated" into the terminology of Chi energy used in acupuncture. The Western pathology system will be "translated" into the great Qi disturbance systems. The principles of exposure, strategies of exposure and the function of acupuncture points will be considered. The book "Heavenly Treatment of Earthly Diseases - Causes and Development of Diseases, and the Principles and Strategies of Treatment" will be basic. This book has also been translated into Russian.

Complete course of study including contact and study hours. One contact hour equals two teaching hours. Study hours are used to prepare lectures and study materials presented by the Program. This means that the Program should have between 200 (short training) and 500 (full training) teaching hours. For a 2.5-year full-time course, this means 200 hours of study per year. Each day consists of 8 academic hours (45 minutes), which means that each year will consist of 25 lecture days.

Biological Decoding
"Biological Decoding of Diseases" is a new therapeutic approach, the result of the further development of the ideas of the German physician, Dr. Hamer, who in the 80s of the last century made a number of observations regarding the nature and meaning of diseases. He called his approach New Medicine. Biological Decoding, evolving in recent years, has aimed to test the formulations of this physician through experience and practice. Some of the findings were left intact, some were softened, and most importantly, at every opportunity, the principles underlying Dr. Hamer's innovative discoveries were tested. It should be added that a number of modern theoretical and therapeutic directions are a direct continuation of his work, discoveries and intuitive insights.

Course Description

The “biodynamic” approach is based on understanding the natural forces that organize our form and function. It is a whole-person approach that includes an understanding of body, mind and spirit. This view was pioneered by the osteopath Dr. William Sutherland, who discovered the existence of subtle rhythm sequences that can be felt throughout the body and that bring order and integration to both body and mind. Dr. Sutherland realized that these subtle movements are actually created by our own life force, which he called the "Breath of Life." The Breath of Life acts in us as the most fundamental organizing force, governing all other aspects of our physiological functioning. Therefore, the free and balanced expression of these rhythms is essential for our health and well-being.

We work with the principle, the essence of which is that within each of us there is an unmistakable mind, an intelligence that constantly strives for health and optimal balance - this is what arises during our embryonic development and continues throughout life. The role of the practitioner is to support this natural tendency so as to effectively apply their skills in accordance with the physiological needs of each client. We also provide an outstanding opportunity to develop perceptual and instinctive abilities that can be applied within a therapeutic context, and strive to create a safe and spiritual environment that supports student learning and growth.

The principles outlined in the pioneering work of Dr. Sutherland and his student, Dr. Becker, together with the holistic approaches of Franklin Sills, Michael Kern and other educators, have played a major role in the development of course content and teaching methods. The course includes a continuation of work created by other therapists practicing in the field; students are also introduced to related practical areas, including the approaches of Dr. Peter Levine and Babette Rothschild to dealing with the effects of shock and trauma, and Dr. Stephen Porges' discoveries on the functioning of the autonomic nervous system. It also includes Dr. William Emerson's work on prenatal and childbirth and Dr. Ray Castellino's approach to working with infants, children and families.

We present to you the classic training in craniosacral biodynamics, which is an excellent balance of theory and practice, with a significant seminar time devoted to practical sessions. The emphasis is on the development of techniques of palpation, perception, which the student can include in an unfolding and deepening process. Trainers provide comprehensive support for skill development through observation and feedback. Printed materials are also provided to assist with the learning process. Throughout the training, students are also supported by a group of assistants.

Study on the course continues in the interval between seminars. This includes hands-on practice of the skills learned during the seminars, writing, reading and studying anatomy. Along with homework, students perform practical and theoretical tests in the learning process, at the end of the course they write their thesis.

The cycle consists of 11 seminars, 4 and 5 days long. Seminars will be held in person (the group meets at the venue of the seminar), depending on the epidemiological situation, with the presence of a teacher in the hall or online, with the support of an assistant group.

Together with the teacher at each seminar there will be a group of assistants who will help you to master the practical program as fully as possible.
In each seminar, at least 2 lectures are given by senior course assistants.
Seminars will be held in the suburb of St. Petersburg, in Zelenogorsk

Upon successful completion of the program and meeting all the requirements, the graduate is issued a CTET (Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust) English school certificate, as well as an IABT (The International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings) certificate. These certificates enable you to apply for registration with Craniosacral Therapy Associations in other countries (additional requirements may apply in each country).
Also, a graduate can register with the Collegium for Craniosacral Biodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and conduct official activities in the field of health improvement.

Michael Kern (UK) D.O., B.C.S.T., A.B.D., N.D. Is a craniosacral therapist, osteopath and naturopath practicing in London. He has been teaching craniosacral therapy since 1987 and is an internationally renowned proponent of the biodynamic approach, regularly delivering courses in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Denmark and Russia. He is a founding member of the Craniosacral Therapy Education Foundation in London and has been a Senior Lecturer at the College of Osteopaths, the International Cranial Association, the Center for Professional Development of Osteopathy and the University of Westminster. Michael is also the author of the acclaimed book Wisdom of the Body - A Craniosacral Approach to Health, which has been translated into ten languages.

· Paolo Casartelli (Italy) B.C.S.T, teacher and practitioner of craniosacral biodynamics, trained with leading community teachers such as Michael Kern, Michael Shea, Franklin Sills.
He has a PhD with a degree in molecular biology and genetics from Princeton University, USA, as well as medical and scientific research experience at the California National Institute of Genetics.
Studied mindfulness psychotherapy in England with Franklin and Maura Sills.
Co-author of the book Craniosacral Biodynamics Based on Mindfulness in 12 Steps, published in Italy by RED.

· Ekaterina Gordeeva, Russia. Physician neonatologist, BCST. In 2004 she graduated from the Russian State Medical University, residency in neonatology with a course of neonatal resuscitation. Experience in nursing premature newborns at the hospital stage for more than 10 years. Experience in the rehabilitation of newborns at the post-hospital stage for 7 years. She is currently assisting in the Craniosacral Therapy course at the Craniosacral Education Trust.

Humanist Hypnosis offers all the tools and techniques of Hypnosis (note that when we speak about the technique, the word is written with a capital letter; and when we denote the hypnotic state, we use a small letter).

Humanist Hypnosis, for example, will help you get rid of phobias or excess weight, as well as stop smoking or biting nails. It will be supportive during a fit of anxiousness, panics, heavy stress induced by exams, wear and tear of life (death of relatives, divorce, etc.) or serious disease. In addition, it can supplement medical treatment. Anesthesia is also possible in the Humanist Hypnosis due to ‘inductions in opening’ as quick as they are observed during hypnotic performances (no longer with unconsciousness).

All common indications for Hypnosis or Neuro Linguistic Programming can be applicable to Humanist Hypnosis as well. And a person does not have to lose his/her consciousness or give in knowing nothing about what the therapist is doing…On the contrary, the technique used in Humanist Hypnosis will wake up feelings and help to obtain further insight into your unconscious mechanisms. 

Аnd since you certainly do not know what to do with all this, a therapist should be at your side to give explanations and to carry you through the adequate techniques but here too you act yourself. And since the humanist techniques are those of symbols (they use your spontaneous images, feelings and impressions), all the rest is really easy: there is nothing to be understood or unriddled.

Work with symbols has its advantage of keeping secrets since symbols, like masks, veils the history of your life from view. Thus, actually when you handle your deep symbols on your own, you act on yourself even without knowing it.

The craniosacral techniques (сranium (lat.) – ‘a skull’, sacrum (lat.) – ‘an edge bone) belong to the osteopathy divisions and exert action on the whole body through the head (skull bones, brain tunic) and sacrum structures. They are very similar to gentle massage but the manual method is totally different.
